Key Stage 2 Playground Renovation

Our Key Stage 2 playground tarmac is cracked, uneven and extremely hard, and we are seeing an increasing number of incidents and injuries as a result. Football, running and contact games now have to be restricted because of the risks involved.

We are raising funds to renovate the playground: resurfacing, climbing equipment, sensory play areas and seating, creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive outdoor environment where every child can take part, develop confidence, build friendships and enjoy being active.

A supplier quotation for the work is approximately £63,000 excluding VAT. Every donation, of any size, brings us closer to a playground that is safe for all our children.

For more information about the project, please contact Larisa Alikhan (Headteacher) at lalikhan@roehampton.wandsworth.sch.uk or on 020 8788 8650.

Roehampton Church Forest School is a small voluntary aided Church of England primary school in Roehampton, in the London Borough of Wandsworth, for children aged 3 to 11.

We are fundraising to renovate our Key Stage 2 playground, replacing the cracked, uneven and extremely hard tarmac with a safe, welcoming and inclusive outdoor environment.

The project will resurface the playground and add climbing equipment, sensory play areas and seating, so that every child can take part, develop confidence, build friendships and enjoy being active.

Every donation will help us create a safe outdoor space where all our children can play, learn and thrive.
