About

We are fundraising to build a new timber-framed nursery building that will relocate the existing pre-school provision and introduce a new baby room for children aged 9 months and over. Demand for nursery places locally has risen sharply over the past four years due to closures of nearby settings and childminders, and this is expected to increase further with around 200 new homes planned in the village.

Currently, the school is unable to admit babies despite strong demand, particularly since the introduction of expanded Early Years funding for working parents. The project will significantly increase local childcare capacity, better support families, and strengthen early learning provision in a rural community with limited alternatives.

All support however small is gratefully received.
